Joe Mantegna
Narrator
The distinguished actor, director and writer Joe Mantegna
has appeared on the Broadway stage as well as in over 200 films and television
programs. He is the recipient of a
Tony and a Joseph Jefferson Award for his theatrical work, and in his long
career has played roles as varied as the cynical real estate agent in Glengarry
Glen Ross and Fat Tony on the Simpsons. He has worked with Woody Allen, Francis Ford Coppola, Steven Zaillian, Billy
Crystal and is known for his collaborations with David Mamet. This is Joe Mantegna’s fourth narrator
role with Florentine Films. |

Chris Genebach
The voice of William Atherton
Chris Genebach has acted on stages in Washington, D.C., New
York and Chicago. He has taken leading
parts in many classic plays, and turned in a virtuoso performance in the Folger
Shakespeare Theater’s production of Orestes, in which he played both Menelaus
and Helen of Troy. He recently played Luther Flynn in Superior Donuts at the
Studio Theatre in Washington, D.C.

Darrill Rosen
The voice of Shadrach Byfield
Darrill Rosen’s recent films include First Person Singular, Almost In Love, Joshua, Cry Funny Happy. He appeared on stage in Bulrusher, Salt Chocolate, Holocaust
Stories, A Raisin In The Sun, The Forest, Anthony And Cleopatra, Hello And
Goodbye. He trained at London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. |

Steve Elm
The voice of Tecumseh
Steve Elm, actor, writer and director, trained at Rose
Bruford College of Speech and Drama in London, England. He is currently Artistic Director of
Amerinda Theater in New York City, which develops and produces new work by
Native American artists. He recently directed the Ninth International Theater
Festival at Ohio Northern University, and is currently working on the world
premiere of Thieves by William S. Yellowrobe Jr., which will premiere at the
Public Theater in August 2011. |

Anne Carney
The voice of Dolley Madison
Anne Carney has
been doing voiceovers for over 15 years. She performs in theatre, film,
television and commercials and dabbles in film editing on the side. In
addition to The War of 1812, she recently did the narration for
the documentary Bad Blood, also for PBS. |

Sam Tsoutsouvas
The voice of Isaac Brock
Sam Tsoutsouvas began his professional career while still a
student at the Julliard School with a role in the New York Shakespeare
Festival. He was a founding member
of John Houseman’s The Acting Company, and has appeared in many Broadway and
national productions. His roles
range from Salieri in Amadeus to the title role in Gilbert and Sullivan’s The
Grand Duke. This is his sixth
voice-over role with Florentine Films. |

Sophie Hayden
The voice of Lydia Bacon
Sophie Hayden received a Tony nomination for her role in the
revival of The Most Happy Fella. She
has had leading roles on Broadway and Off-Broadway stages, including Edith
Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank, and
Adriana in The Comedy of Errors at
Lincoln Center. Favorite job? Mom to two great daughters. |

James Kennedy
Voice of John Beverly Robinson
James Kennedy was born and educated in Northern Ireland, and
trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and the Graham School
in London. His credits include the
National Theatres of England and Ireland, the RSC and Royal Court Theater, Portland
Center Stage, Syracuse Stage, Buffalo Arena, The Irish Repertory Theater,
Playmakers Rep, and Chapel Hill. |
