Radiance

The George Walter Vincent Smith Museum in Springfield, MA, founded in 1896, houses the collection of the Victorian benefactor whose name it bears. Radiance highlights many of Smith's American landscapes, including Frederic Church's magnificent New England Scenery, and other paintings by such nationally recognized artists as Albert Bierstadt, George Newell Bowers, J.G. Brown, William Chadwick, William Merritt Chase and George Inness.
