

This one-hour film tells the story of two brothers.
One has suffered the horrors and sadness of mental illness for four
decade. The other is a prize-winning novelist who has been his brothers
primary caretaker through those years. Based on the experiences
of Robert and Jay Neugeboren, Imaging Robert is a true story
true not only for the protagonists, but for millions of other Americans.
Through extensive interviews, verite filming and home movies, the
viewer sees how mental illness challenges the individual and shapes
the family.
